New Forest Small School Harvest

New Forest Small School practise permaculture. Although the school is in an idyllic location with its playground, the adjacent woodland of the New Forest, the space available for gardening is fairly limited. However, they certainly make the best of it, and as the photos show, potato harvest is always enjoyed.
The school has also managed to participate in 'Grow Wild' through art and the murals on the external walls of the school depicting native British wildflowers are really taking shape although progress is now held up by autumnal weather.
The school has enjoyed two separate sessions on climate change and will most definitely be sending postcards to Paris!
