Outstanding progress from Pennington Junior School's Eco Squad

How's this for a school that hadn't even got an Eco group in November?
PJS report that they have set up the PJS Eco Squad who have now met twice this term. Children would like badges so badge designs have been handed in the school is now in the process of getting these made into badges! Squad members have also begun to create the code.
The school's Nurture group has done a week's topic on Bird Watch and the children have done lots of brainstorming on energy saving ideas too. They really love the idea of doing something special for Earth Hour so their teacher is pitching that to them!
And if that's not enough, PJS Eco Squad plan to introduce the school to Fairtrade and celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
