Walhampton Prep School are taking part in our peat free vs peat-based compost trials. The trays show the two rival composts, both part of B and Q's 'Verve' range. Trays were set up with perennial wildflower meadow mixes and we hope they will produce wildflower turf of both value and beauty by the end of the trials and will be displayed at the New Forest Show.

Walhampton trays were moved into the shelter of the greenhouse before the heavy weather last week, and they report, "Today, a week after planting, we spotted our first green shoots. Here they are keeping the tomatoes company."
