Priestlands donate to Jamie's Computers

Jamie's Computers offers a free professional and secure IT disposal service to businesses and individuals. They refurbish donated computers and make them available for reuse whilst anything that cannot be reused is recycled. Through their free IT disposal and refurbishment services, Jamie’s is able to provide training and voluntary opportunities to socially excluded adults within the community. It is the computer recycling social enterprise arm of The Society of St James; Southampton’s largest homeless charity, providing housing, care and support to homeless and vulnerable people.
In addition to this, they now extend their help abroad following their partnership with Computer Aid International. Jamie's Computers data destruction service guarantees that none of anyone’s data can be retrieved and issues a compliancy certificate. If all that were not good enough, Jamie's refurbishes and sells a range of refurbished PC's and laptops at very modest prices!
We were delighted to be able to take a range of goods from friends and from schools. Goods ranged from VHF equipment to old leads, mobile chargers, mice, printers, laptops and old PCs. Priestlands donated six and will now be sending another thirty! Thanks to all who donated to this very worthwhile cause; a win, win win situation!
