ROCKET SCIENCE AT SMALL SCHOOL
Published on 2016-04-25 by Gill Hickman
Gardening has started at New Forest Small School with the polytunnel being extensively used for Rocket Science, laboriously set up by children. Keeping the seedlings in a polytunnel seems to have paid off with good even germination from lots of seedlings.
Alex has plans to complete the attractive wildflower mural that started as a Grow Wild Youth Project last summer. He will also sow a wildflower mix with species suited to partial shade under trees. That is planned outside the school wall along the A35. Hopefully it will be a treat for drivers!
