The New Forest School at Landford and at Nomansland were invited to attend the Roots and Shoots Awards at London Zoological Society. Children showcased their wonderful work and were delighted to be able to speak with Dr Jane Goodall. who explored their Forest Fridays booklets and their classbooks. She was particularly impressed by the school's rhino that children had painted with environmental messages. The school has won a cup, an award certificate and a year's subscription to Kids' National Geographic. What an achievement!
