Published on 2015-10-05 by Gill Hickman
Bransgore Primary School were the first to take up the offer of an assembly on climate change and Postcard to Paris, It is always a delight to visit this school and the pleasure was doubled by the opportunity a visit provided to see the end of their summer wildflower meadow. Bransgore had one of the prettiest of wildflower meadows that started with jewel like colours in late June. It was still flowering in early October, with musk mallow, helianthus, coreopsis with the occasional poppy and cornflower giving a great autumnal show. As for their parsley crop: it’s said to only grow in the home of the woman who is boss! Who is Bransgore’s ‘boss woman’ we ask?
