The ducks raised at school last year made a welcome return visit this week! Meanwhile Pennington Junior School's ex battery hens have now been released into the school's small orchard. They are growing feathers and showing very normal chicken behaviour and it's great to see their rapid recovery! The school reports that one egg a day is being laid!
