Walhampton Prep School has started the New Year with at least a dozen brilliant Green resolutions! They range from plans for a recycled fashion show, additional recycling displays and collection points in a corridor where parents drop off and pick up, to new ways of earning Eco-pluses (Walhampton’s amazing way of getting children to take responsibility for themselves and environment), to explorations of food waste and growing potatoes in old repurposed boot bags. Energy monitoring, awareness-raising and reinforcement of climate change messages are top of the agenda. Recycling continues, of course and the photo shows one of last summer's recycled boats!
