Walhampton will be blooming lovely

An enthusiastic group of pupils of all ages gave up their lunch break to help weed, hoe and rake our potential wildflower meadow, alongside the astro turf, ready for planting with a mixture of annual and perennial plant seeds. These plants have been chosen to support our precious bees, so with a balance of rain and sunshine we're looking forward to a blooming good show! Well done to all who took part: the couch grass made this a really tough assignment!
